The Tour of Britain Cycling Race came to Newport and South East Wales on Saturday September 4th 2004.

Newport 2020 Vision Launched

‘Newport 2020: Unlimited Vision’ the Master Plan for Newport City’s central area was officially unveiled at the Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA) – Gwent Branch Launch on April 30th 2004.

Draft Master Plan Launch

The Draft Master Plan for Newport’s central area, ‘Newport 2020: Unlimited Vision’, was unveiled at an exhibition to enable the public to give their views about the proposals in October 2003.
