  • Newport Unlimited working with the Welsh Assembly Government and Newport and Gwent Enterprise has provided 40 new business units adjacent to the Telford Street depot to help encourage small business start-ups.
  • New paths will provide new connections to the riverfront and improved neighbourhood park amenities.
  • Development on the previously vacant and derelict riverbank is already underway with housing developments taking place along the River between George Street Bridge and the new City Bridge. Bellway Homes, Persimmon and Taylor Woodrow are all undertaking new developments in the area.
